UNIQUE BRACE GEOMETRY
The Apex DC is a variation of the typical "dead cat" frame that we have modified to keep the front and rear motors aligned, allowing us to maintain the highly appreciated compressed x geometry in the motor layout.
This ensures that the frame remains balanced and flight characteristics are not compromised, unlike the classic "dead cat" design which brings the rear motors closer to the body and strongly impacts handling.
A major drawback of the Caddx Vista system is that the unit body is grounded, which can also cause the conductive carbon fiber plates and frame hardware to be grounded. In an ideal world this wouldn't necessarily be a problem, but in the real world it's an accident waiting to happen.
